MEIKO USA Welcomes Lee Baker as New Vice President of Product Management
LA VERGNE (June 25, 2025) – MEIKO USA is proud to announce the appointment of Lee Baker as its new Vice President of Product Management, bringing a wealth of experience and insight to further strengthen the company’s position in the North American foodservice industry.
With a career rooted in customer service, leadership, and product management, Baker has built a reputation for bridging customer needs with tailored solutions that drive real value. “Meeting customer needs has been the benchmark of my career thus far,” he says. “The hospitality industry—whether in direct service or manufacturing—has offered me the constant learning and challenge I thrive on.”
Throughout his career, Baker has held a variety of leadership roles and is particularly proud of his ability to not just fill roles, but to create them. His professional journey has been defined by adaptability, relationship-building, and a hands-on approach to team leadership.
In his new role at MEIKO, Baker will be responsible for ensuring that MEIKO’s product portfolio continues to align with the evolving needs of foodservice customers across North America—both today and into the future. His immediate priorities include connecting existing MEIKO solutions with market demand while making sure customers have access to meaningful, value-added information.
“I was drawn to MEIKO because it’s a company of specialists—humble, driven people who care deeply about what they do,” he says. “There’s incredible potential here, both in business and in the opportunity to make a real contribution.”
Baker also brings with him a deep understanding of the North American foodservice market. He hopes to use this knowledge to support MEIKO’s continued growth and help amplify the brand’s message. “MEIKO has a great story to tell,” he adds. “I’m excited to be part of telling it.”
When asked about what excites him most, Baker points to something simple—yet essential: water. “As funny as it sounds, I’m most excited about… water. I never actually thought about water before like this. But the more I change my perspective, the more I’m intrigued by it. MEIKO has a deep respect for water, and I believe that philosophy is a big part of why the company has been so successful—and how it will continue to lead in this space. I have a funny feeling that water is not just a fad.”
