MEIKO is meeting the coronavirus challenge

, Category Company

Every country on the planet is affected by the coronavirus. It’s impacting our work lives, our families, and our social lives. Mandatory quarantines are in place; businesses are closed. There are shortages of medical supplies and safety equipment. Healthcare workers are incredibly overworked.

Most MEIKO customers have been hit hard. How will the world ever recover?

MEIKO will do its part. We’re committed to our customers, our partners and our employees. Why such a high level of caring? It’s our heritage. In fact, it’s the core of the MEKO Foundation and part of our deeply rooted values.

We’re still operating

MEIKO’s headquarters in Offenburg, Germany is still open, still building and shipping products.

Globally, the health of our 2,600 employees is our top priority. To limit exposure to the virus, we’re working at home when possible and practicing social distancing in every location where employees are working. Communication flows via phone calls, e-mails, online conferences and our company app, MEIKO Live.

We also stay in regular contact with our customers, suppliers and local authorities so we can react quickly to the changing dynamics of the pandemic. Our goal is to provide our customers and partners with the best possible support, even during uncertain times.

Worldwide effect on MEIKO

The pandemic has impacted the ways in which MEIKO can provide sales and service support ‒ particularly in countries with high rates of infection. But our emergency operations continue to field product and service requests, especially from hospitals and nursing homes where sanitation and disinfection are most critical.

Uncompromising support

For MEIKO, creating uncompromising sanitation technology means providing uncompromising support. We have more than 70 years of expertise in cleaning and disinfection technology for bedpans, urinals, suction containers and other patient care devices. Our TopLine thermal washer-disinfectors provide active protection for patients and healthcare staff.

MEIKO dishwashing machines also lead cleaning and sanitation in the foodservice industry. The design and technology of most MEIKO dish machines, along with our TopLine thermal washer-disinfectors, has been certified by the internationally known testing laboratory HygCen, to completely inactivate coronavirus in ONE single wash cycle.

Be safe with MEIKO technology
